All schools must be affiliated in order to participate in any event under the auspices of Irish Schools’ Athletic Association – this includes provincial and regional events.
Affiliation is an annual payment from the school, regardless of number of athletes and events entered. The affiliation fee is currently €120.
With effect from 2024/25 affiliation is done centrally with the Irish Schools Athletic Association (ISAA). The process has 2 steps.
- Register the school details via the online link. A PO number can be input at this stage if required.
- Your details will then be used to generate an invoice which will be emailed to the provided email address with details on how to pay. This payment will go directly to ISAA.
ISAA will provide provinces and regions with the list of affiliated schools and keep this updated.
No affiliation means no insurance means no competition.
